Full Description

Bronze badly corroded blade of triangular knife with one remaining and one lost rivet hole. Slight central rib and edge bevels. Possibly reworked rapier blade. Length 12.7 cms. Found by (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s) circa 1960, when twisted around his hoe on arable field, blade straightened soon afterwards. Part of collection of (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s). Blade probably from early MBA rapier (S1).
Previously recorded as MNL 159, from Cupola Farm (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s) in Lakenheath parish (S1).
