Full Description
Square moat ? ditched enclosure located by R Colchester during fieldwalking survey. Finds consisted of 10 Med squared rims and 30 other rims, 1 shelly sherd, 6 glazed sherds and 373 plain sherds (including 2 rope twisted handles), and lava quern fragments (S1)(S2).
1 ? possible Thetford ware (S3).
A broken perforated object of fired clay (?some kind of candle holder), date or purpose is also sketched on the survey record sheet.
