Full Description

Moat - with a mound, possibly mill mound or dovecote. Rectangular with entrance to W (original ?). The mound is 36.0m N-S by 30.0m E-W and stands about 2m above water level. The moat arms are 8.0m wide. To the W is a wide ditch running N-S where it enlarges into a pond. A spur reaches to within 5.0m of the N arm giving the whole the appearance of a larger complex (S1).
