Full Description
Three sherds of Rom pottery found when digging septic tank in garden of thatched house adjoining and E of Post Office, 300 feet NW of The White Horse Inn, Rickinghall Street in March 1957. The septic tank was dug to a depth of 5 feet and was investigated by Basil Brown who, when moving spoil heaps, found Rom pottery and sherds from other periods including large Med pottery in situ (S1).
