Full Description
Excavation in 1978 of possible findspot, according to (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s), of Mildenhall treasure (MNL 231) (S1)(S2), failed to locate pit representative of 1942 excavation by (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s) during extraction of treasure. Within small area excavated Roman pottery, 2 coins and the corner of a Roman building were found (S3). Further details in excavation archive. This site adjoins and is part of Roman finds scatter, MNL 146.
