Full Description

Rim sherd of dark grey fabric, black surface, identified as Frankish Blackware, C7/C8 (S1).
1994: surrounding fields fieldwalked by John Newman - broad scatter of mainly Medieval coarseware with a few prehistoric flint flakes (?).
Also undated circa 20m diameter burnt flint patch at TM 4346 7798.
