Full Description

Polished flint axe found at a depth of 3 feet in a flower bed in the garden of Rumburgh place Farm. 7m away from the W side of the house. Found in 1986 (S1).
The axe is made of mottled honey-coloured and white flint, the butt is broken and the cutting-edge is badly chipped; 12.5 cms long, cutting-edge 5.3 cms wide, 3 cms thick.
