Full Description
Gold stater, found metal detecting (on IMDC rally 1986)(S1). Obv: indistinct, portions of laureate head of Apollo. Rev: disintegrated horse to r. formed of crescents, dots and lines. Worn. Similar to Mack no. 47, Clacton type 1 stater, British F. Rare coin - for similar example see CHL 028.
Also note Republican coin, circa 150 BC, from SLY 052 to S. Within cropmark complex SLY 009
