Full Description

Pointed `bullet' shaped bone tool with circular, hollow, section with 2 perforations near base, similar to that from MNL 042 (R2 fig 12.1). Found by (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s) on weathered field surface in 1970's (S1).
A similar, although larger, specimen in Peterborough Museum is recorded by Rowlands and considered to be a small pointed spear ferrule (R1). Probably part of scatter MNL 043/MNL 051.
