Full Description
Scatter, mainly pottery.
Large sherds including mortarium found in ploughsoil (S1). Further material collected non-systematically over several years includes Samian forms 37 (decorated) and 38, colour coated ? Colchester, grey ware mortarium, sherds, etc, probable range C2-C4. Also one fragment, small, of ? box tile (S2). Further Rom tile ? feature found to the W (WSS 011) (S2).
Bonds Farm named thus on OS 1:10000 1975, Bands Farm on OS 1:10560 undated.
