Full Description

Gray's Farm (John Gray owner 1840 Tithe Apportionment).
Small moated site (site shown as unoccupied on 1:10560 map, but now occupied by a bungalow) with adjoining partially moated/ditched area containing present farmhouse and farm buildings.
C14-C15 pottery (including some green glazed ware with black underglaze decoration) recovered from field on E side of moated complex (S2). Small group of C17-C19 pottery recovered from the area (S1).
