Full Description

Small stone `grooved axe' (S2), or maul, circa 12.6 cms long. Cutting edge narrower than body with groove or notch around circumference towards concave, hammer-shaped `rear'. Petrologically sectioned - number S82, acidic ash. From `Lound Run waterworks' (S1).

This may come from the same locality as a series of flint & stone implements from Lound Run - LUD 004 and Lound Misc Neo.
