Full Description

Metalwork found in area around a pond while metal detecting (S1). One `sitting duck' type of brooch, enamelled; a fragment of bow brooch; denarii of Julia Domna (AD 193-211) and Elagabalus (AD 219); bronze coins Allectus (AD 293-296) and House of Constantine (AD 335-341).
Tile fragment also found in the same area. A bronze key found to the N of the main scatter (S1).
Further coins (up to Valentinian), finger ring fragment (S1).
Also BA, IA & ESax brooches.
