Full Description
`2 gold staters - Iceni double crescents' (Mack 397-9?) and a few Iceni silver and two cast potin coins (said by finder to be 'Thurrock' type). Found either side of N- S footpath. Finds area marked on sketch map. Potin coins from (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s), staters from (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s)(S1).
Formerly mislocated to ERL 005.
April 1981: Fieldwalking by J Plouviez located one ?IA rim sherd amongst general Rom scatter (S2).
1991: Figure of Staters, all `Iceni double crescents' said to be `at least 9' and spread over 3 fields in `circa 20 acres area' (S1).
