Full Description

A few sherds of Thetford ware and one hand-made ?MSax piece, found in area of C12-C14 scatter. Similar material including Ipswich ware to the E (MRM 036). This group of sites possibly the Domesday vill of Preiston (Preston on Tithe Map)(S1)(and note also ESax occupation to NW - MRM 034).
Also 8 Ipswich ware and 4 Thetford ware found at MRM 035 and/ or MRM 036, during fieldwalking (S2).
