Full Description
1978: Material from kiln, excavated by (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s) in 1974, brought in for identification (S1). Labelled "Roman Field". Largely grey wares. One bag with assorted late Rom wares as well ...? Upper layer. Some definite mixing with LKH 061. Similar group of jars to 061, also perforated lug, handles and some very crude bowl forms. Only one sherd of `Finer' burnished type (S2). Some drawings.
One of kilns within large Rom scatter, LKH 011 and multiperiod site, LKH 072, for others see LKH 061, LKH 011 and LKH 019.
