Full Description
(see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s). Sent to Norwich Castle Museum (S1). The smaller coin is a copper `rose farthing' of Charles II (sic) (Charles I ?)(1625-1649). One side is a crown with the Latin legend CAROLUS D G MAG BRIT and on the other a rose, with the legend FRAN ET HIB REX. The legends mean `Charles by the Grace of God King of Great Britain, France and Ireland' (S2).
