The cropmark of a ring ditch, potentially representing the remains of a Bronze Age round barrow, are visible on aerial photographs (S1). The ring ditch and centred on TM 5015 9597 and is incomplete, measuring 17m in diameter. Although the presence of a windmill in this general area on the 1652 Estate Map of Somerleyton (S2) could indicate it relates to this later features, although see also BLN 041.
