Summary

The cropmarks and soilmarks of a former Bronze Age round barrow, are visible on aerial photographs. The site consists of a largely plough levelled mound, surrounded by a relatively broad ditch, 31m in diameter.

Full Description

Ring ditch circa 35m diameter. Within field system ASY 003 (S1).

January 2014. Lothingland, Lowestoft and North Suffolk Coast and Heaths National Mapping Programme.
The cropmarks and soilmarks of a former Bronze Age round barrow, are visible on aerial photographs (S2-S3). The site is centred on TM 4903 9923 and consists of a largely plough levelled mound, surrounded by a relatively broad ditch, 31m in diameter.
