Summary

The cropmarks (and possible earthworks) of a ring ditch, probably representing the remains of a Bronze Age round barrow, are visible on aerial photographs. A slight mound may be visible as an earthwork in 1966.

Full Description

Ring ditch, circa 25m diameter (S1).

January 2014. Lothingland, Lowestoft and North Suffolk Coast and Heaths National Mapping Programme.
The cropmarks (and possible earthworks) of a ring ditch, probably representing the remains of a Bronze Age round barrow, are visible on aerial photographs (S4-S5). The site is centred on TM 5115 9991. A slight mound may be visible as an earthwork in 1966 (S2).
