Summary

The light soilmark of a possible circular or penannular enclosure or barrow is visible on aerial photographs. Although the archaeological origin of this feature is not certain it is possible that it relates to a former round barrow. Other possible examples have been recorded nearby, for example BLN 004 and BLN 009.

October 2013. Lothingland, Lowestoft and North Suffolk Coast and Heaths National Mapping Programme.
The light soilmark of a possible circular or penannular enclosure or barrow is visible on aerial photographs (S1). The site is centred on TM 5262 9820 and is 22m in diameter. Although the archaeological origin of this feature is not certain it is possible that it relates to a former round barrow. Other possible examples have been recorded nearby, for example BLN 004 and BLN 009.
