Summary

The cropmarks and soilmarks of two probable Bronze Age round barrows are visible on aerial photographs. The westerly example consists of a ring ditch and slight earthworks of a low mound (S1) and the eastern one is indicated by a circular soilmark. Both are bisected by field boundaries. October 2013. Lothingland, Lowestoft and North Suffolk Coast and Heaths National Mapping Programme.
The cropmarks and soilmarks of two probable Bronze Age round barrows are visible on aerial photographs (S1-S3). The site is centred on TM 5207 9952. The westerly example consists of a ring ditch and slight earthworks of a low mound (S1) and the eastern one is indicated by a circular soilmark. Both are bisected by field boundaries.
