Summary

The cropmarks of a possible ring ditch, potentially represent the remains of a Neolithic and/or Bronze Age oval barrow are visible on aerial photographs. Although the cropmarks are not well defined and may relate to underlying geology. However numerous ring ditches and barrows have been recorded in the area, for example LUD 046.

October 2013. Lothingland, Lowestoft and North Suffolk Coast and Heaths National Mapping Programme.
The cropmarks of a possible ring ditch, potentially represent the remains of a Neolithic and/or Bronze Age oval barrow are visible on aerial photographs (S1). The site is centred on TM 5155 9960. Although the cropmarks are not well defined and may relate to underlying geology. However numerous ring ditches and barrows have been recorded in the area, for example LUD 046.
