Summary

The site of a former World War Two Heavy Anti-Aircraft Battery is visible on aerial photographs. The site consists of the four embanked gun pits and command post, radar equipment and other more minor structures. Two type 22 pillboxes and a roadblock are also located on the edges of the site. See LWT 257 for the accommodation camp.

March 2014. Lothingland, Lowestoft and North Suffolk Coast and Heaths National Mapping Programme.
The site of a former World War Two Heavy Anti-Aircraft Battery is visible on aerial photographs (S1-S2). The site consists of the four embanked gun pits and command post, radar equipment and other more minor structures. Two type 22 pillboxes and a roadblock are also located on the edges of the site. See LWT 257 for the accommodation camp.
