Monument record LUD 070 - Cropmark of possible ring ditches

Please read our .

Summary

The cropmarks of a conjoined pair of ring ditches of uncertain date and interpretation are visible on aerial photographs. Although barrows seem the most likely interpretation, it is feasible that they relate to later agricultural features associated with the surrounding field system (ASY 002) or domestic structures, such as roundhouses of possible later prehistoric or Roman date.
