March 2014. Lothingland, Lowestoft and North Suffolk Coast and Heaths National Mapping Programme.
Nine World War Two earth-covered underground air raid shelters are visible on aerial photographs (S1) to the east of St Felix School, Halesworth Road, Reydon.
Two entrance passages are visible on the eastern side of the six shelters to the north, and the western side of the three to the south, either side of Shepherd’s Lane. They are still visible partially intact in 1955 (S2).
