Summary

Undated linear ditches, several enclosures and a possible trackway are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs on land to the south of Wangford Road, Uggeshall.

Full Description

April 2014. Lothingland, Lowestoft and North Suffolk Coast and Heaths National Mapping Programme.
Undated linear ditches and a possible trackway along with several possible enclosures are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs (S1-S8) on land to the south of Wangford Road, Uggeshall.
The possible trackway to the west is only visible on two sets of photographs (S2 and S6) and may be unrelated to the more regular linear features to the east. In fact the possible trackway shares an orientation with ditches of possible field boundaries and trackways recorded separately to the east (UGG 019) and it is possible that it is contemporary with these features.
