Full Description

April 2014. Lothingland, Lowestoft and North Suffolk Coast and Heaths National Mapping Programme.
Undated linear field boundaries, a possible enclosure and possible trackway are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs (S1-S6) to the west of Wangford Road, Uggeshall.
Several possible pits were also visible in the field, but since the cropmarks were visible against a background of many geological features only a few of the most convincing possible pits have been mapped. Linear ditches are also visible on a slightly different alignment to the south and east, and have been recorded separately (UGG 021).
E. Ford (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 10th April 2014.
