Full Description
April 2014. Lothingland, Lowestoft and North Suffolk Coast and Heaths National Mapping Programme.
Undated cropmarks of linear ditches including a possible trackway and possible ring ditch are visible on aerial photographs (S1) on land to the south of Keith’s Wood, Reydon. They are only visible on one photographic layer, against a background of geological marks, and the ditch to the north of the field may represent a recent trackway or agricultural mark. The possible ring ditch may also be geological in nature, since the ditch itself measures over 5m in width, although it is possible that it relates to a post medieval windmill mound.
E. Ford (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 15th April 2014.
