Full Description
A WWII anti aircraft battery site - H16 . On RAF aerial photographs from March 1944 the Anti-aircraft battery consists of 4 square emplacements set within earthen banks in a straight line, with some associated structures locate 20m to the east and west. However, photography from July 1944 shows a series of bell tents or other mobile structures to the west. Helen Saunders (Essex County Council), December 2014. (S1-S2)
