Full Description

Cropmarks of a ring ditch which probably represents a ploughed out round barrow of Bronze Age date. The ring ditch is 25m in diameter with no visible internal features. The souther side of the barrow is not visible on the aerial photographs; this maybe due to crops/vegetation at the edge of the field or the ring ditch could have been trunacated by the modern road. Helen Saunders (Essex County Council), February 2015. (S1-S2)
