Full Description
Ring ditch, circa 20m-30m diameter. Appears to be respected by some later field(?) boundaries (S1)(S2)(S3)(S4). Smaller, slighter, ring ditch adjoins to NE - see HRK 053. Within field system HRK 020.
Cropmarks of two ring ditches which probably represent ploughed out round barrows of a Bronze Age date. The first ring ditch is 26m in diameter with no visible internal features, the second is located 2m to the north-west and is 12m in diameter with an off-centre small pit visible. Helen Saunders (Essex County Council), March 2015. (S7-S9)
