Full Description

Ring ditch, circa 20m diameter. Field system, FRT 011, can be seen all around this ring ditch and the smaller one, FRT 013, to the S. A curvilinear field boundary leaves the ring ditch on the SE side heading NE (S1).
Formerly in Freston parish, in Holbrook after parish boundary change.

Cropmarks of a ring ditch which represents a ploughed out round barrow of Bronze Age date. The ring ditch is 25m in diameter with no visible internal features. A further round barrow is located 4m to the south. Helen Saunders (Essex County council), March 2015. (S3-S5).
