Full Description

Ring ditch circa 20m diameter. To the N and S of it and only a short distance from it are two very small ring ditches, CHL 013, 015. To the S of field system, CHL 004 (S1)(S2).

Cropmarks of a possible ring ditch that may represent a ploughed out round barrow of Bronze Age date. The cropmark is only visible on one set of aerial photographs and may actually be an agricultural mark, the two smaller ring-ditches were not mapped because they are not thought to be of archaeological origin. The ring-ditch is 19m in diameter. Helen Saunders (Essex County Council), March 2015. (S3)
