Full Description
Circular causewayed ring ditch circa 25m diameter. Causeway to the S, ditch not clearly defined to N & NW (S1)(S2)(S3). Possible windmill site.
Cropmarks of a ring-ditch, which may represent a ploughed out round barrow of Bronze age date. The ring ditch has a causeway or entrance on the south-west side and is 28m in diameter. While the ring ditch could represent a former windmill site there is no evidence on the available photographs for internal features such as cross-trees. Helen Saunders (Essex County Council), March 2015. (S4-S5)
