Full Description
A large trench with flanking banks , of World War II date, is visible as an earthwork on Snape Warren, northwest of New England Farm (at TM 40355820). A second, smaller feature is visible at TM 40615812 (north of New England Farm) (S1). The features are both probably related to the use of this area for armoured vehicle training during the war. The features were not extant in 1943 (S2).
