Full Description
A World War II strongpoint visible under construction in 1940 (S1) and built by 1941 (S2). The strongpoint, located at TM 52498085 (where Green Heath, Covehithe Broad and the sea all met), comprised a pillbox within a barbed wire circuit, with a northwest-facing access, and covered the north side of the beach in front of Covehithe Broad. The site has since been eroded away.
