Full Description

A circular enclosure of unknown date with an entrance to the west, visible as an earthwork in 1940-1. It may be an early World War II military feature, but there is no definite evidence for this. (S1) (S2) By Jan 1942 there appears to be little of the earthwork remaining although the shape of the feature is defined by the pattern of the drainage ditches. (S3). By the 1970's the feature has virtually disappeared. (S4)
