Full Description

A square pillbox, c 4m across, is visible at TM54459594 near Gunton Warren on 1940 aerial photos (S1). Adjoining the pillbox in these photos is a linear feature, possibly another structure, or maybe a trench. This feature is not visible on later photographs, such as those from 1941 (S2) and may therefore have been a feature of the construction of the pillbox. The pillbox can still be seen on 1944 aerial photos (S3).
