Full Description
An extensive stretch of World War II scaffolding can be seen running through Alderton and Bawdsey parishes from TM362421 to TM356405 on aerial photographs. It would have formed a defensive line to protect against invasion from the coast. (S1)
The scaffolding has been removed by October 1945.
See ADT 056 for anti-tank ditch on similar alignment.
