Full Description
An area of possible World War II practice trenches visible on the beach at Shingle Street in December 1943. They are very unclear and appear to be below the highwater mark. Only one trench was clear enough to plot but the whole area is marked. (S1)
See BAW 063, BAW 064, BAW 067, BAW 068 and BAW 079 for similar trenches on the beach.
