Full Description

A small rectangular structure with a flat, probably concrete, roof can be seen in the centre of some allotments on photographs from April 1944 onwards. Its highly reflective nature suggests that it is concrete and has probably been recently constructed. Its location near to an area of housing and the fact that it appears to be virtually the same as another structure to the west (FEX 113) support the interpretation of the structure as an air raid shelter. (S1) The structure is still there in 1946 (S2) but has been removed by 1948.
