Full Description

A World War II anti-aircraft ditch, constructed some time before July 1940, can be seen on Felixstowe Marshes. It consisted of a shallow ditch with piles of upcast at either side and was meant to prevent aircraft from landing on flat open countryside such as the marshes. (S1) (S2)
