Full Description

A line of c12 bomb craters stretching across Tinker's Marshes can be seen on 1941 aerial photographs (S1). They would appear to be of World War II date, and seem to represent part of a single bombing run. The craters can still be seen, although more faintly, as earthworks on 1945 aerial photographs (S2).
