Full Description

A small circular earthwork, c 15m across, is visible on an 1945 aerial photograph (S1) on Tinker's Marshes. It is possible that this is a World War II gun emplacement. It does not seem to appear on earlier photographs, although there may be some kind of feature in this location on a 1941 aerial photograph (S2), but it is not clear.
