Full Description
A hexagonal pillbox of World War II date can be seen on the edge of the beach at Bawdsey. It would have functioned as part of the anti-invasion defences surrounding RAF Bawdsey during the war. (S1) (S2) The structure is still visible on photographs taken in 1963 (S3).
