Full Description

A possible Bronze Age round barrow is visible on aerial photographs as a partial cropmark of a ring ditch at TM 26354636. The northern half of the ring ditch is visible as a cropmark whilst the southern half may have been obscured by spoil from the quarry pit to the south (MRM 057). The area enclosed by the ring ditch could have a diameter of at least 13.5m. The proximity of other features identified as round barrows (MRM 058, MRM 087) suggests that this ring ditch is also likely to be the remains of a Bronze Age barrow. (S1-S2)
