Full Description

A probable Post Medieval field boundary is visible as cropmark at TM 29924647 on aerial photographs. The linear ditched feature spans the width of the modern field, running from TM 29874660 in the north to TM 29954639 in the south. The feature does not follow the same alignment as the possible Later Prehistoric or Roman field system (see SUT 066) and fits well into the modern field pattern. It is likely therefore that the feature represents the remains of a grubbed up field boundary of Post Medieval date. (S1, S2)
