Full Description
A row of rectangular pits is visible as earthworks in the inter-tidal zone of the River Orwell, running from TM 25393606 to TM 25403597, on aerial photographs taken in August 1948. The pits run parallel to the river channel and seabank and measure on average roughly 3.5m by 2m. The pits are very similar to another row of pits recorded to the south (TYN 080). (S1)
