Full Description
Rectangular pits of unknown date and function are visible as earthworks, centred on TM 25383634, in the inter-tidal zone of the River Orwell on aerial photographs taken in August 1948. The pits measure 2m by 3.5m at their largest and are arranged in irregular rows parallel to the seabank and river channel. See TYN 081 for similar pits further to the south. (S1)
